    Lights at Ahmadi

    Yesterday we went over to Maliha's sister's home in Ahmadi as they had been asking us to come over to check out the decorations for the upcoming independence and national days (25th/26th Feb). I must say that the Kuwait Oil Company has really put in a commendable effort. They've practically lit up every tree, bush, round-about and lamp-post on the main roads and it all looks very pretty albeit you get a strong Diwali vibe.

    I wasn't able to take as many pictures as I wanted as we were in a bit of a hurry after having a nice dinner at KOC's Hubara Centre nevertheless I'm putting up a few.

    Ahmadi....hubara club....KOC... looking at these words and reading your blog entry took me way back in the time. Usually i am not a kind of person who make an effort to write such comments / posts etc. But cant resist to this one... well i was born in Ahmadi, spent my childhood there...father used to work in KOC. last time i was there in 96....and i am seriously thinking to come for a visit again.....have a nice time there.....
